'Beer for my Horses' is a fundrasier that has been revived for Dawn and Wilie. The grandaughter of famed Triple Crown winner, Seattle Slew and her son have found refuge here at the rescue after almost starving to death while owned by a vet just outside Saratoga. Many people saw them on the news or read about them in the paper and want to help but don't have the means they wish the did to donate. Here is how you can chip in. Spend a week collecting cans and bottles at home, at work, with a church group, scouts or even a group of friends. Turn them in for the recylcling money and send that for Dawn and Wilie. It may only be $5 or $10 but it all adds up and it all helps. Dawn and Willie eat 29 pounds of feed a day and a bale of hay. Feed is $11 a bag. Even money for one bag of feed is a big help to them right now. Checks can be made out to the stable and mailed to us a 9 Tilford Rd Argyle, NY 12809.
