Senior IT Project Manager



We are currently seeking a Senior IT Project Manager for a permanent position in the Albany, NY area. Salary is negotiable based on experience.



The Senior IT Project Manager will be responsible for:

* Planning and executing multiple simultaneous application and infrastructure large scale projects
* Overseeing large scale program consisting of numerous related projects utilizing appropriate Systems Development Lifecycle
* Work within business goals and develop and oversee application software to meet the business and technical requirements within the architectural parameters
* Support an assortment of technologies (Web Systems, Legacy Systems and Systems Infrastructure)
* Work with business leaders to establish upcoming technical needs



Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
* PMP Certification
* 7+ years experience in professional Project Management within an IT environment
* Understanding and knowledge of industry best practice project management methodologies (PMBOK)
* Knowledge of TriZetto’s Facets preferred
* Experience with Project Portfolio Management tools, particularly Change Point preferred
