Description
When several HALO volunteers attended a funeral service for a friend's mother, they couldn't help but notice the friendly Orange Tiger who greeted them near the entrance and was trying to get in. When they left, he was still there. Knocking on doors of houses nearby, they finally had someone answer and they were told that the cat was one of the many strays that hang around on the street. Well, needless to say, he ended up coming home in the car with them! He was named "Alex" because their friend's mother's name was "Lexie" and they found out later that Lexie rescued an orange Tiger herself and it was one of her favorite cats! Alex is a sweetheart of a cat that loves attention and we'd like to find him a home where he isn't considered "one of the strays" anymore.
